NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Troy City Council will hold a public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Troy City Hall, 519 S. Main Street, Troy, Idaho, to consider a variance request submitted by Robert ("Bobby") and Jennifer Wilson, owners of the property located at 218 Monica Street, Troy, Idaho. The request seeks a variance from Troy City Code 155.076, which requires a 20-foot (20') setback from the front of a structure on the property to the street. The applicants are requesting a 5-foot variance to allow the construction of a second garage within 15 feet of Monica Street. The intent of the variance is to eliminate off-street parking in front of the residence, thereby improving visibility and enhancing pedestrian safety along Monica Street.
The hearing will be held under the authority of Idaho Code. Interested parties are encouraged to attend. Accommodations for individuals who qualify under the ADA are available upon request.
