202285 ORDINANCE NO. 432 AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2025, APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $9,712,534 TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSE AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF GENESEE FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR, AUTHORIZING A LEVY OF A SUFFICIENT TAX UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY AND SPECIFYING THE OBJECTS FOR PURPOSES FOR WHICH SAID APPROPRIATION IS MADE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Genesee, Latah County, Idaho. Section 1: That the sum of $9,712,534 be, and the same is appropriated to defray the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of Genesee, Latah County, Idaho for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2025. Section 2: The objects and purposes for which such appropriation is made, and the amount of each object and purpose is as follows. ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES GENERAL FUND General Administration 235,700 Police Department 14,400 Fire Department 126,459 Street Department 382,600 Sanitation 206,700 Parks & Recreation 314,475 TOTAL GENERAL FUND EXPENDITURES 1,280,334 WATER FUND Administration 118,000 Maintenance & Operation 397,500 Projects 3,911,500 TOTAL WATER EXPENDITURES 3,911,500 SEWER FUND Administration 109,000 Maintenance & Operation 339,700 Projects 4,072,000 TOTAL SEWER FUND EXPENDITURES 4,520,700 TOTAL ALL FUNDS BUDGETED EXPENDITURES 9,712,534 Section 3: That a general tax levy on all taxable property within the City of Genesee be levied in an amount allowed by law for the general purposes for said City, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2025. Section 4: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 5: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon its passage, approval and publication in one issue of the Moscow Pullman Daily News, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Moscow, and the official newspaper of the City of Genesee.
