202012 NOTICE OF CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lewiston Planning and Zoning Commission will not conduct a public hearing at which you may provide comments/testimony on August 23, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. but, instead, will do so Wednesday August 27, 2025 at 5:30 .pm. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT BUILDING 2ND FLOOR MEETING ROOM, 215 D STREET LEWISTON, ID 83501 Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. This public hearing will be to determine approval or denial of the following proposal: CPA25-1, AN AMENDMENT TO ENVISION LEWISTON 2044, THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (ACTION ITEM): The Commission will consider amendments to add language to consider the effect on ground water in adoption and amendment or repeal of the comprehensive plan and to require the use of surface water as the primary irrigation water source, where reasonably available, in land use changes, pursuant to Idaho Code 67-6508(r) and Idaho Code 67-6537, respectively.
