202143 Announcement Latah County will receive proposals for the minor materials of an open-access, dark fiber network with up to approximately 80 miles of aerial and underground fiber optic cable builds, including middle-mile, fiber-to-the-premise, and fiber-to-the-tower to enable future-proof connections for all County locations. Proposals that address and comply with the RFP packet requirements are to be received as outlined no later than 5:00pm PT on Friday September 5, 2025 5:00pm. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud on or about Tuesday, September 9, 2025 10:00 am PT at Latah County Courthouse Room 2B in Moscow, ID. Latah County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. Awarding of the project is contingent upon the negotiation of a professional services contract. Note that this project is part of a grant through the Idaho Office of Broadband and the American Rescue Plan Act Capital Projects Fund.
