For Design of Wastewater
Treatment Plant
Dewatering Improvements
The City of Pullman, Washington requests statements of qualifications from consulting engineering firms to provide design services for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Dewatering Improvements project. To be considered for this project, one (1) digital copy (email attachment to Nicole Morton, thumb drive, etc.) of the SOQ must be received at the office of the Department of Public Works, City of Pullman, Attention: Nicole Morton, PE, 190 SE Crestview Street, Building A, Pullman, WA 99163, nicole.morton@pullman-wa.gov, no later than 5:00 p.m., PST, on October 3rd, 2025.
Pullman's existing belt filter press is about 35 years old and the City would like to look into alternatives for replacing the unit. The objective of this project is to design a dewatering system, prioritizing redundancy and improved reliability for the dewatering process, and do so utilizing the available footprint of the equipment building. In addition, the equipment building trusses and ceiling pan coatings are experiencing rust formation. As part of the dewatering improvements project, rehabilitation of the trusses and ceiling pan will be included to maintain structural integrity of the building.
