2026 Annual Action Plan
Public Hearing Notice and Request for Comments
The City of Lewiston has scheduled a public hearing to present the draft Annual Action Plan 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year. All citizens are invited to attend and provide comments. The public hearing will provide citizens the opportunity to learn about the planned activities funded with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The meeting is open to the public and all citizens are encouraged to attend. The public meeting will be held:
Monday, June 8, 2026, 6:00 P.M.
Lewiston City Library, 2nd Floor Conference Room
411 D Street, Lewiston, ID 83501
There is a 30-day public review and comment period, beginning May 9, 2026, and concluding June 8, 2026, after the public hearing. Interested parties are encouraged to review the draft plan via City of Lewiston CDBG website beginning May 9, 2026. If you would like a hard copy, it can be picked up in person, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at City Hall, City Library, and Community Development locations.

1. 2026 Administration $40,000
2. 2026 Home Repair Program $60,000
3. Lewiston Independent School District $15,000
4. City of Lewiston Park & Recreation Department $150,000
5. L-C Habitat for Humanity $45,551.26
Anticipated Resources:
Annual Allocation: $258,298
Estimated Program Income: $40,000
Estimated Prior Year Resources: $12,253.26
Total Available: $310,551.26
