PUBLIC NOTICE
The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) is considering a request for Federal assistance from the Port of Whitman County to construct a Technology Transfer and Commercialization Scaling Facility in Pullman, Whitman County, Washington. Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), EDA is conducting an assessment of the potential of the proposed project to affect the environment and/or historic properties.
The project will construct an approximately 31,000 sq ft, two-story facility that would provide a physical space from which businesses could launch and commercialize new technologies at the leading edge of manufacturing for high-tech development in bioengineering and energy industries. The project will be located at Andrus Drive, Pullman, Washington. Comments received by the EDA Regional Environmental Officer by 5:00 pm PST on April 19 will be considered. A copy of the NEPA/NHPA decisional document will be available upon request by the above EDA Regional Environmental Officer.
