Case VAR25-0001 involves a request by Kurt Dahmen, on behalf of the City of Pullman to reduce the number of required off-street parking stalls from 10 to 0 for Emerald Pointe Park on the property at 215 NW Golden Hills Drive. Parks over 2 acres require 5 parking stalls per acre. Emerald Pointe Park is approximately 2.886 acres, requiring 15 parking stalls, however, in 2011 a variance was approved to reduce the required parking from 15 parking stalls to 10 parking stalls.
All interested persons or their authorized agents are encouraged to appear at the public hearing and testify for or against the proposal. Interested parties may also submit written comments regarding this application to the Community Development Department at City Hall prior to the public hearing or by emailing ariel.medeiros@pullman-wa.gov. Please be advised that oral comments at the hearing may be subject to a time limit. At the public hearing, the Hearing Examiner will accept testimony on the proposal and then the matter will be closed for public input. Within 10 business days of the public hearing, the Hearing Examiner will decide to approve, approve subject to conditions, or deny the applicant's request. The decision will be made available to the public via the City's website.
