NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINE
CITY OF PECK, IDAHO
Notice is hereby given: That the general election to be held in and for the City of Peck, Idaho will be held Tuesday, the 4th of November, 2023. The election will be held for the purpose of electing the following offices for the specified terms:
1st Position: Councilor - 4 year term
2nd Position: Councilor - 4 year term
3rd Position: Councilor - 2 year term
4th Position: Councilor - 2 year term
Candidates for city elected office are required to file a Declaration of Candidacy specifying the office sought and affirming that the individual is a qualified city elector, meaning:
At least 18 years of age
A US citizen
The candidate's primary residence must be within the City limits
the address of the candidate's voter registration must match the residence address provided on the candidate's declaration, and
the candidate must have resided in the city for at least 30 days prior to submitting their declaration.
The Declaration of Candidacy must be accompanied by:
A nonrefundable filing fee of $40, or
a Petition of Candidacy signed by at least five qualified electors with the signatures verified by the county clerk's office.
The deadline for filing Declarations of Candidacy is the 29th of August, 2025, at 5:00 pm. Declarations of Candidacy are available at Peck City Hall at 105 West Howard Street, Peck, Idaho from the hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 Monday through Thursday.
