204525 PUBLIC COMMENT REQUESTED LEWIS-CLARK VALLEY METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AMENDMENT REQUESTS The public comment period is now open to anyone who wishes to comment on the following amendments to the 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) of the Lewis Clark Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (LCVMPO). The Policy Board of the LCVMPO will receive public comment at their meeting on May 14, 2026. The Policy Board meeting will be held at 4:00 p.m. in person at 215 D Street, Lewiston, Idaho, and by Zoom. Those wishing to attend virtually to give comment should email director@lewisclarkmpo.org for the link. Written comments will also be accepted through May 13, 2026, by e-mail at director@lewisclarkmpo.org. The Policy Board will accept comments and make a determination on the following requests: LCVMPO TIP AMENDMENT 26-05 Add the following project in the program: Agency: WA State Dept. of Transportation South Central Region Project Title: US 12/Snake River Clarkston Bridge Bridge Painting Project Description: Clean and paint existing steel bridge surfaces to preserve the structural integrity of the bridge. LCVMPO TIP AMENDMENT 26-06 Add the following project in the program: Agency: WA State Dept. of Transportation South Central Region Project Title: Asphalt/Chip Seal Preservation within Lewis Clark Valley MPO Project Description: Resurface roadway with chip seal or hot mix asphalt to preserve the structural integrity of the roadway and extend the service life of the pavement.
