ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) is requesting proposals for a construction project that consists of replacing a county road culvert with a 21-foot span aluminum box culvert and restoring stream channel and floodplain habitats via earthwork, installing habitat structures, and planting and seeding native vegetation.
Sealed proposals will be received by IDFG, until 3:00 pm., prevailing local time, on April 16, 2026, for IDFG Project No. 2024-528, Big Meadow Creek, Sharrock-Becker. Bids may be mailed to IDFG Clearwater Regional Office, Attention: Robert Hand, 3316 16th Street, Lewiston, ID 83501.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.
A pre-bid tour of the project will be held on April 2, 2026, at 1pm. Attendance is not mandatory but it is recommended that potential bidders attend. Contact Robert Hand with the Bureau of Fisheries at (208) 750-4209 to make arrangements to attend this tour. The meeting place will be at the City of Troy Water Treatment Facility at 1001 Umbarger Rd, Troy, ID 83871.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid is required.
Documents may be obtained for bidding purposes from the Department of Fish and Game, Clearwater Regional Office, Robert Hand, Phone (208) 750-4209. No deposit is required.
A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho is required of the successful bidder prior to the award of a contract if the bid amount is greater than $50,000. If a bidder does not currently have a Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho, they must verify the capability of obtaining a license prior to submitting a proposal. Include names and Public Works License number on Sub-Contractor List as part of bid if total project value is greater than $50,000.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed, and all craftsman and laborers performing their work under this contract shall be paid at the minimum prevailing wage rate as currently determined for this area by the U.S. Department of Labor.
