202161 NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINE CITY OF LEWISTON, IDAHO In accordance with Idaho Code 50-411, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the general city election in and for the City of Lewiston, Idaho, will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The election will be held for the purpose of electing the following offices: Mayor (4-year term) Three (3) City Councilors (4-year terms each) Declarations of Candidacy for the above offices are available at the City Clerk's Office, Lewiston City Hall, 1134 F Street, Lewiston, Idaho, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Candidate forms and additional information are also available on the City's website at https://www.cityoflewiston.org/190/Elections. The filing period for Declarations of Candidacy opens Monday, August 18, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., and closes Friday, August 29, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Filings must be submitted in person to the City Clerk's Office located at 1134 F Street, Lewiston, Idaho. Candidates must file a Declaration of Candidacy along with either: A Petition of Candidacy signed by at least five (5) registered Lewiston electors (verified by the Nez Perce County Clerk); or A nonrefundable filing fee of forty dollars ($40.00). Individuals who run as a write-in candidate must file a Declaration of Intent no later than 5:00 p.m. on September 5, 2025.
