The State of Idaho will accept public comment on its Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) State Plan for FFY2026-2028. The deadline for public comment is Friday, December 5, 2025.

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families is a block grant that is used to provide cash assistance, services, and work programs for needy families, utilizing federal TANF funds along with state funds to develop and deliver services to needy families. The overriding goal of Idaho's TANF program is to help Idaho's needy families achieve self-sufficiency by providing them access to job preparation, work and support services.
Anyone wishing to offer comments in person, may attend our Public Hearing on Monday November 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM virtually on Microsoft Teams. Join the meeting using the following:
