206256 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Board of County Commissioners of Nez Perce County, Idaho, will accept sealed bids for the County Line Hazardous Fuels Treatment Project (HFT), Units 21, 22, and 23. The contract will require mechanical hazardous fuels reduction treatments, including mastication and hand thinning where specified, on designated private properties in the vicinity of Winchester, Idaho. Work will include selective thinning of conifer trees, removal of ladder fuels, dead and dying trees, woody brush and downed vegetation, pruning of residual trees, and mastication of resulting slash. Treatments will be conducted in accordance with individual property treatment prescriptions and project specifications to reduce hazardous fuel load and wildfire risk. The sealed bids will be accepted until 10:00 am, local time on the 6th day of November, 2026. The bids at that time will be publicly opened and read in the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 3rd Floor Commissioners' Conference Room, located at 1230 Main Street, Lewiston, Idaho 83501.
