206264 CITY OF LEWISTON SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 4979 ORDINANCE NO. 4979: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LEWISTON DESIGNATING THE SPEED LIMIT ON 6TH STREET BETWEEN 7TH AVENUE AND 11TH AVENUE AS FIFTEEN (15) MILES PER HOUR; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Section 1 amends Lewiston City Code 35-32 to reduce the speed limit on 6th Street between 7th Avenue and 11th Avenue to 15 miles per hour. Section 2 provides an effective date and conditions the speed reduction upon installation of appropriate traffic-control devices in accordance with Idaho Code 49-208(2).
