Case CUP26-0003 involves a request by Jake Gailey, on behalf of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories to increase the size of a private recreation facility from approximately 14,000 square feet to approximately 28,000 square feet at 500 NW Greyhound Way.
The subject property is located in an R1 Minimal-Density Residential District. Private recreation facilities are conditional uses in the R1 districts. Conditional uses are developments that warrant special consideration before being established or altered in a particular area due to their potential impacts on surrounding properties.
All interested persons or their authorized agents are encouraged to appear at the public hearing and testify for or against the proposal. Interested parties may also submit written comments regarding this application to the Community Development Department at City Hall prior to the public hearing or by emailing ariel.medeiros@pullman-wa.gov. Please be advised that oral comments at the hearing may be subject to a time limit. At the public hearing, the Hearing Examiner will accept testimony on the proposal and then the matter will be closed for public input. Within 10 business days of the public hearing, the Hearing Examiner will decide to approve, approve subject to conditions, or deny the applicant's request. The decision will be made available to the public via the City website.
Pertinent documents related to this case are available for public online and in-person at City Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pullman City Hall is accessible for persons with disabilities; please inform the Community Development Department if you will need any special accommodations to attend the meeting.
