204383 City of Kendrick Resolution 288 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF KENDRICK A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN SEWER RATES FOR THE CITIZENS OF KENDRICK; PROVIDING THIS RESOLUTION TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kendrick needs to raise the Sewer rates for the projected costs associated with the operations for the KENDRICK CITY Wastewater Upgrade project. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kendrick will raise the sewer rate in three increments to meet the needed projected operation costs set forth by the project. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kendrick deemed the first rate increase to commence for the month of May 1, 2026, the second-rate increase, August 1,2026 and the third-rate increase November 1, 2026. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kendrick deemed that the Community and Church Sewer Rate will be raised as well and the increase will commence for the month of May 1, 2026, the second-rate increase, August 1,2026 and the third-rate increase November 1, 2026. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENDRICK AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Rate Increase: The following sewer rate fees shall be applicable for and follow the table below. Existing Rate New Rate Sewer Rate $53.05 May First Increase $3.33 $56.38 August Second Increase $3.33 $59.71 November Third Increase $3.34 $63.05 Community Organization and Church Sewer Rate Existing Sewer Rate $43.05 May First Increase $3.33 $46.38 August Second Increase $3.33 $49.71 November Third Increase $3.34 $53.05 Section 2: That the foregoing sewer rate fee cycle will commence on May 1, 2026. Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval, and publication according to law.
