The City of Clarkston has received a request for a variance for property located at 1392 Poplar St. Clarkston, WA 99403. The request is compliant with Clarkston City Ordinance 17.35 Variances. The hearing shall be conducted per Clarkston City Ordinance 17.90 Rules of Procedure for Land Use Matters.
The proposed variance requests a height increase from 35 feet to actual building height of 42 feet on a multi-family apartment complex.
A public hearing will be held before the City of Clarkston Hearing Examiner on March 13, 2026, at 10:00AM at Clarkston City Hall, 829 5th Street, Clarkston, WA 99403. At that hearing any person may appear in person, in writing, agent or attorney, and present any reason which he/she may have for granting or denying the variance application. Written comments may be sent to the attention of Mike Dimmick, Public Works Director, at 829 5th St., Clarkston, WA 99403 and must be received by 4:00PM on March 12, 2026.
