The application identifies the groundwater recharge place of use as the entire NSCC irrigation service area, and Wilson Canyon site, and Nielsen site. See paragraph below for additional information.
Application seeks to appropriate 1,000 cfs of water from the Snake River to be diverted at three North Side Canal Company (NSCC) diversions at Milner Dam &/or Milner Reservoir for groundwater recharge use. The application identifies the groundwater recharge place of use as the entire NSCC irrigation service area and includes two specific recharge sites known as the Wilson Canyon site (located approximately 13 miles east and 1.0 mile south of the center of the Interstate 84 & Highway 93 interchange) and the Nielsen site (located approximately 4.5 miles south and 4.5 miles east of the Highway 26 & 46 intersection in Gooding). The application also identifies a point of injection from the NSCC system into the Big Wood River (northwest of Gooding), a rediversion site from the Big Wood River at the NSCC Y Canal (northwest of Gooding), and a rediversion site from the Malad River at the NSCC Z Canal (southwest of Gooding).

Application seeks to appropriate 450 cfs of water from the Snake River to be diverted at the North Side Canal Company and American Falls Reservoir District No. 2 (Milner Gooding Canal) diversions at Milner Dam for groundwater recharge use. The application identifies the groundwater recharge place of use as specific recharge sites known as the Wilson Canyon site (located approximately 13 miles east and 1.0 mile south of the center of the Interstate 84 & Highway 93 interchange), the Milepost 29 and 31 sites (located approximately 7.5 miles north and 13 miles east of the center of the Interstate 84 & Highway 93 interchange), the Shoshone site (located approximately 2.75 miles north and 0.75 miles west of Shoshone), and the Nielsen site (located approximately 4.5 miles south and 4.5 miles east of the Highway 26 & 46 intersection in Gooding).

Protests may be submitted based on the criteria of Idaho Code 42-203A. Any protest against the approval of this application must be filed with the Director, Dept. of Water Resources, Southern Region, 650 ADDISON AVE W, STE 500, TWIN FALLS, ID 83301-5858 together with a protest fee of $25.00 for each application on or before
January 26, 2026. The protestant must also send a copy of the protest to the applicant.
