203507 LEWISTON CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Lewiston will hold a public hearing on January 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Second Floor Event Space at the Lewiston City Library, 411 D Street, Lewiston, Idaho. The purpose of the hearing is to receive testimony and comments regarding ZA-05-25, PARKING LOTS: The City Council will consider amendments to Lewiston City Code Chapter 37, Zoning Code, Sections 3, 146, 147, 151 and 153. These amendments can be described as improving clarity, resolving inconsistencies, redundancies, and conflicts, and eliminating provisions that are unnecessary and overly burdensome. The Lewiston Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on this matter on December 10, 2025 and recommended that it be approved by City Council. Submission of Written Comments: To ensure that written comments can be forwarded to the City Council and relevant staff prior to the hearing, please submit comments no later than 5:00 p.m. on Sunday January 11, 2026.
