202987 ORDINANCE NO. 2026-01 AN INTERIM ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TROY, LATAH COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2025-02 TO PROVIDE FOR AN EXPIRATION DATE OF APRIL 8, 2026 OF THAT INTERIM ZONING ORDINANCE WHEREAS, the City of Troy duly passed Ordinance 2025-02 pursuant to Idaho Code, which amended the City of Troy zoning code on an interim basis; and WHEREAS, the City of Troy expended efforts for several years in working on the zoning code; and WHEREAS the City of Troy continues to work with consultants on revising and refining a final zoning code, but needs sufficient time to complete said efforts; and WHEREAS the City of Troy deems it proper to continue with the interim zoning ordinance up to the full extent of time authorized by state statute NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TROY AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Ordinance 2025-02 be, and is hereby AMENDED to incorporate an expiration date of April 8, 2026. PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 22nd day of October, 2025.
