Asotin County 2026 - 2031
Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program
Pursuant to Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 36.81.121, the proposed Asotin County 2026 - 2031 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) has been prepared for adoption by the Board of County Commissioners.
The program shall be adopted by the County legislative authority at any time before adoption of the annual budget and shall include all anticipated road and bridge construction projects, capital ferry expenditures, paths and trails projects and any other specified capital outlays for the following six-year period, with assurance that the program is based on a realistic assessment of available funding during the program period.
The proposed TIP will be considered at a public hearing of the Board of County Commissioners along with any comments made by the public at the hearing, or comments in writing received prior to the hearing. The public hearing will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 beginning at 9:15 a.m. in the Commissioners Chambers at the Asotin County Courthouse Annex, 95 2nd Street, Asotin, WA 99402 for the purpose of taking comments on the proposed TIP.
Written comments can be submitted via e-mail to jmalkin@asotincountywa.gov or mailed to the Asotin County Public Works Department at P.O. Box 160, Asotin, WA 99402.
Any interested person may appear at this time and be heard on matters relating to the proposed TIP. A copy of the proposed TIP may be obtained by contacting the Asotin County Public Works Department at 509-243-2074 or via the website at: https://www.asotincountywa.gov/272/Projects. The Board may also adopt the proposed TIP via resolution subsequent to the hearing.
