NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR A VARIANCE
The public is notified of a variance hearing request in front of the Board of Adjustment on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 7 PM in the Public Service Building, 1st floor auditorium, 310 N. Drew Howell on behalf of John R. Howell Inc. has applied for a variance to construct a residence within the viewshed of other residences per Whitman County Code 19.10.060(A)(1)(c): "In the case of a parcel of land in existence prior to January 1, 2007, if the parcel is within an adjacent viewshed then a variance to the viewshed rule is required." A site address and driveway access onto either Reid or Banner Road is yet to be determined in the SE 1/4 of Section 18, Township 15 N., Range 45 E., W. M., Whitman County, Washington.
