ASOTIN COUNTY, a duly organized County of the State of Washington,
Plaintiff,
vs.
Estate of Alice Burklund et al; Forrest K Ingraham et al; Mary Randall Hecox et al; Estate of Frieda M Rubedew et al; Wen Tu et al and each and every person having or claiming to have any right, title, lien or interest in, or upon, said real property, or any part thereof by, through or under said named owner, or owners, and all persons unknown, if any, having or claiming to have any right, title, lien or interest or estate in, to or upon said real property, or any part thereof,

YOU AND EACH OF YOU, and all other persons or parties unknown claiming any right, title, estate, lien or interest in or to the real property described in this notice and summons of foreclosure of tax liens, are hereby notified that Asotin County, a duly organized and existing county of the State of Washington, is the owner and holder of Certificate of Delinquency No. 25-2-00196-02 for parcels located in Asotin County, Washington filed the 10th day of September, 2025 in the Superior Court of Asotin County; that said Certificate was issued by Asotin County on that date by the Treasurer of Asotin County, pursuant to law, for real property taxes and interest due, unpaid and delinquent for three or more years for which no certificate of delinquency had previously been issued; that the descriptions of the several lots, tracts and parcels of real property included and described in said Certificate of Delinquency, the names of the several reputed owners as appear on the rolls of the Asotin County Treasurer, the amounts of 2022 through 2025 and some prior delinquent taxes on each of said lots, tracts and parcels of said real property, including interest thereon at 9% per annum as well as penalty on the balance of unpaid taxes, computed on the 1st day of September, 2025, the years for which the same are due and unpaid as they appear and are set forth and described in said Certificate of Delinquency. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the plaintiff, Asotin County, will apply to the Superior Court of the State of Washington, in and for the County of Asotin, for judgment foreclosing its lien for taxes against the lots, parcels and tracts of real property in this notice and summons hereinafter described, and you and each of you, are summoned to appear in the above-entitled Court within thirty (30) days after the date of the first publication of this summons, exclusive of the date of the first publication of this summons, which day of said first publication will be the 3rd day of October 2025, and defend this action or pay the amount due, plus allowable costs (e.g., title search and advertising), and in case of your failure to do so, judgment will be rendered in this action foreclosing the lien of such taxes and interest against the several amounts shown to be due against each of said lots, parcels and tracts, as described in Certificate of Delinquency No. 25-2-00196-02, filed herein, plus allowable costs (e.g., title search and advertising). You may redeem your property by payment of delinquent taxes, interest and costs; however there is no right of redemption after the close of business on the day before the sale date, according to RCW 84.64.070.
Exemption for taxes owed may be available for elderly and disabled persons under RCW 84.36.381. Contact Asotin County Assessor's office at 509-243-2016, 135 2nd Street, Asotin, Washington for more information and assistance with applying for the exemptions.
Exemption for elderly and disabled: this action will not be continued against your property if you are eligible for deferral of taxes, RCW 84.38, due to age or disability, and file a declaration to defer taxes in accordance with the requirements of the chapter. The Assessor's office can assist you in filing the declaration.
