NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pullman Comprehensive
Plan Draft
NOTICE is hereby given that the Pullman Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 28, at 6:00 p.m. to consider the draft Pullman Comprehensive Plan, currently being updated. The hearing will be held in Council Chambers at Pullman City Hall, located at 190 SE Crestview Street, Building A.
The 2027 Comprehensive Plan updates and builds upon the foundation of the City's 2021 Comprehensive Plan that in turn was based on plans created in 1961, 1972, 1982, and 1999. This Comprehensive Plan is designed to serve as the blueprint to guide growth and development within the City for the next twenty years; fulfill planning responsibilities under planning enabling laws that require the creation of land use and circulation elements as well as defining other municipal responsibilities; and provide a framework for other planning requirements.
All interested persons or their authorized agents are encouraged to appear at the public hearing to testify about this iteration of the draft Comprehensive Plan. Interested parties may also submit written comments regarding this matter to the Planning Division at City Hall prior to the public hearing or by emailing Ariel Medeiros, AICP, ariel.
medeiros@pullman-wa.gov. For comments to be included in the record, comments must be received by 5 PM on October 28.
At the public hearing, the Planning Commission will accept testimony on the proposal and then recommend to the City Council that the proposed Comprehensive Plan update be approved, modified, or denied. Please be advised that oral comments at the hearing may be subject to a time limit.
Pertinent documents related to this case are available for public review at the Community Development Department at City Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pullman City Hall is accessible for persons with disabilities; please inform the Community Development Department if you will need any special accommodations to attend the meeting.
