CITY ORDINANCE NO. 4973
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LEWISTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4950, THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2025 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2026, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONIES THAT ARE TO BE RECEIVED BY THE CITY OF LEWISTON, IDAHO IN THE SUM OF SEVENTEEN MILLION THREE HUNDRED FIFTEEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($17,315,900); DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE A CERTIFIED COPY OF THIS ORDINANCE WITH THE NEZ PERCE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LEWISTON, IDAHO:
SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 4950, the Annual Appropriation Ordinance of the City of Lewiston, Nez Perce County, Idaho for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2025 and ending September 30, 2026, is hereby amended as follows:
That the additional sum of Seventeen Million Three Hundred Fifteen Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($17,315,900) shall be appropriated out of the following revenues:

All of the above sums are revenues from sources not anticipated at the time of adoption of Ordinance No. 4950 and are not from ad valorem tax revenues. All expenditures of monies will be in accordance with the provisions of Idaho Code 50-1006.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Nez Perce County Board of County Commissioners pursuant to Idaho Code 50-1003 and 63-804.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publication.
