205819 NOTICE: PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Nez Perce County Board of Commissioners will hold public hearings on Thursday, September 17th at 2:00 PM in the Nez Perce County Courthouse Confluence Conference Room, 1st Floor, 1230 Main Street, Lewiston, Idaho concerning the following: TA2026-5 Impound Yard Definitions and Impound Yards in the F-1 Zone - A request to add the definitions of Impound Yards and Low-Capacity Impound Yards to Section 101.01.030. - Definitions; amend Title 112 Lewiston City Impact Area to add Low-Capacity Impound Yards to the permitted uses and Impound Yards to the conditional uses in the Farm (F-1) zone; and add development standards for Impound Yards and Low-Capacity Impound Yards to Section 112.20.040. - Standards Governing Conditional Uses. The Planning & Zoning Commission recommends approval with provisions including that Low-Capacity Impound Yards be eliminated and all impound yards be conditional uses. TA2024-1 Agricultural Protection Areas - An ordinance amending the Nez Perce County Land Development Code by adding Chapters 2 through 7 to Title 114, for the purpose of establishing standards, review criteria and hearing procedures for agricultural protection areas in accordance with the Agricultural Protection Area Act (Idaho Code 67-9701 et seq.) The Agricultural Protection Area Commission recommends approval. TA2026-3 Flood Control - An ordinance amending Title 104 Flood Control of the Nez Perce County Land Development Code to comply with federal regulations and adopt new Flood Insurance Rate Maps (floodplain maps) and Flood Insurance Studies effective on October 29th, 2026.
