NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING
PROPOSED SALE OF VACTOR TRUCK BY
CENTRAL ORCHARDS SEWER DISTRICT
TO THE CITY OF GENESEE, IDAHO
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Genesee, Idaho will have a hearing on a proposed Purchase and Sale Agreement between Central Orchards Sewer District and the City of Genesee, Idaho, for the sale of a 2004 International, Vactor 2100 Classic Truck, VIN 1HTWCADRX4J017780, as required by Idaho Code Section 67-2323, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at the hour of 6:00 p.m. at the Genesee City Hall, 140 East Walnut St., Genesee, Idaho.
The general terms of said agreement that said equipment shall be sold "as is" to the City of Genesee for the sum of $80,000 to be paid to Central Orchards Sewer District within ten (10) days of the execution of a Purchase and Sale Agreement by COSD and the City of Genesee. COSD has recently purchased a new Vactor Truck and the City of Genesee has indicated its intent to purchase the older Vactor Truck that has been replaced.
The Central Orchards Sewer District will hold its hearing on the proposed Purchase and Sale Agreement on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the hour of 5:30 p.m. at the office of Central Orchards Sewer District, 1522 Powers Ave., Lewiston, Idaho.
At said hearing, any and all interested persons may appear and show cause, if they have any, why the Central Orchards Sewer District should or should not enter into such an agreement with the City of Genesee.
